National Sales Trainer

Description/Job Summary

Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement a premier sales training program that capitalizes on current technology opportunities

Responsibilities/Duties

•Educate and train employees with customer contact in the areas of industry trends, competitive sales, pricing strategies, account development, referral source marketing, business presentations, proper use of sales support, converting customer service calls into revenue, expense management, and other sales tools
•Determine training needs by traveling with Retail Mobility Sales Representatives (RMSR) during call rotations, studying sales results reports, and conferring with Regional Managers
•Develop strong selling skillsets to increase sales, revenue and market share while building trust and value amongst our customer base
•Develop and implement strategic plans, while working with the Leadership Team to develop staff, accounts, and referral sources
•Ensure customer satisfaction and customer relationship development through business meetings, product education, and demo facilitation
•Communicate objectives and assists RMSR in territory business plan development and market specific strategies for key account growth and referral source development
•Develop strategies to continually provide competitive and product feedback to help with the ongoing development of new products, and the redesign of existing product to provide better serve the end-user  
•Strategic travel/call rotation with RMSRs and Regional Managers
•Develop and maintain strong presentation skills on all Pride retail product lines
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Develop goals and objectives, and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
 

Required Skills

Must have the ability to:

•Guide, direct, and motivate staff

•Demonstrate and troubleshoot product, and build strong relationships with customers (business-to-business)

•Conduct product in-services and run an executive level business meeting

•Create and deliver a presentation in retail marketing and sales
•Travel overnight, drive extensively, and fulfill after-hours requirements as business needs dictate

•Travel for the company at least 50% of the time as business needs dictate
•Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs

 

Must have:

•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•Excellent web navigation skills

•Excellent presentation, training, and verbal and written communication skills

Required Experience

•At least 5 years of experience as a successful sales trainer or sales leader with training responsibilities

Preferred Experience

•Current or previous successful employment with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, OR an Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field with at least 6 years of the required experience or High School Diploma or GED with at least 12 years of the required experience

Preferred Education

•Master’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred
