Inventory Supervisor

Description/Job Summary

To supervise overall inventory and replenishment strategies in support of Pride’s overall advancement targets

Responsibilities/Duties

•Oversee the Receiving and Materials areas including the corresponding staff

•Oversee the Receiving and Materials supervision of returns processing through the Quality department

•Oversee the material management processes, equipment, techniques, and tools suitable for our organization
•Oversee the cycle counting of inventory

•Investigate, identify and reconcile cycle count discrepancies

•Maintain cycle count records so that it can be reviewed by management
•Effectively communicate with all levels of management

•Report to upper management on stock levels or related issues

•Assist with staff management including documenting and communicating objectives, positively impacting employee morale, motivating team members, conducting performance appraisals, and appropriately addressing individual or group performance issues

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

•Assist with assigning, training, and developing staff based on experience and departmental goals
•Assist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes to ensure goals are met
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Required Skills

Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Guide, direct, and motivate staff
•Lift/Push/Pull up to 40 lbs

Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

•Working knowledge of Oracle preferred

Required Experience

•At least 3 years of experience managing an inventory planning environment

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

•Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree preferred
