Description/Job Summary

To lead and assist the Material Handling team in meeting or exceeding both individual and department KPI’s and goals

Responsibilities/Duties

•Operate a forklift and/or a vertical lift to perform all warehouse duties as needed
•Coordinate daily tasks for Material Handlers to maximize departmental productivity and efficiency
•Lead by example by exhibiting professionalism, being a positive influence on morale, and adhering to all company policies and procedures
•Effectively communicate daily results, concerns/issues and challenges to management
•Provide solutions to challenges in order to maintain daily goals
•Assist in the alignment of KPIs and daily performance for the department
•Act as a liaison between Material Handling and other internal departments
•Investigate all materials related issues including errors, Gain, Loss, Engineering changes and mislabeled parts
•Work in both Duryea and Exeter ware and travel between facilities as needed
•Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and adjustments
•Coordinate all vendor returns, scraps, and returns to stock to ensure quality of products and materials meet demands
•Ensure inventory movement including inventory control, location control and audits
•Coordinate and prioritize the orders pull system generated through Pride systems to support Production
•Coordinate and prioritize the receipt and unloading of all deliveries to support Production and Parts Shipping including order picking and inventory control
•Coordinate and prioritize the loading of trailers for materials being shipped to other Pride facilities
•Coordinate and perform all special projects as requested and communicate with peers, supervisors and management in evaluating the materials systems
•Train Material Handlers on all warehouse equipment and procedures
•Appropriately document and communicate objectives, address individual or group performance issues, and update management
•Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways always clear
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Stand/walk/bend throughout workday
• Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.


Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Strong web navigation skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Intermediate math skills

Preferred Skills

•Basic working knowledge of Oracle preferred
•Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred

Required Experience

•At least 3 years of material handling experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation, OR at least 3 years of experience in a production/warehouse/distribution center leadership role using materials operating systems*
*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer
•At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift and/or vertical lift using scan guns and materials operating systems

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of experience directing employees as a Lead or Supervisor in a warehouse/distribution center environment preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED
