Description/Job Summary

To shuttle material between Exeter, PA and Duryea, PA facilities utilizing company tandem axle tractor and 24 ft straight truck to support manufacturing by assisting in maintaining good production efficiencies in accordance with process requirements


•Move raw materials and finished goods to processing or dispatch areas of the warehouses, docks, and production floor
•Track and ensure inventory is stored in the correct area of the warehouse for locating easily when processing orders
•Accurate loading of transport vehicles and ensure loads are evenly and securely placed
•Shuttle material to and from all Pride facilities in a timely manner as directed by management
•Document product movements utilizing scan guns
•Keep a daily workload record and assist with the physical inventory
•Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and management in evaluating the materials system
•Maintain efficient inventory levels in accordance with management criteria
•Create and pull orders from Oracle
•Receive, confirm, and/or ship orders through Oracle
•Maintain load manifests/barcodes and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries/pickups
•Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed and any accidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, outside and around the building, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Required Skills

Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Operate a forklift and/or a vertical lift to perform duties such as lift, stack and un-stack containers, crates, and pallets of goods in designated areas of the warehouse, and materials in presentation at the production line
•Operate the vertical lift at heights up to 30 feet
•Read and interpret production paperwork (i.e. logs, daily workload reports)
•Work at docks and trailers with varied temperature ranges
•Lift/Push/Pull up to 40lbs

Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
•Good web navigation skills
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Intermediate math skills
•CDL or equivalent Heavy Goods Vehicle III License

Required Experience

•At least 1 year of on-road and yard jockey CDL experience

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of experience with scan guns and materials operating systems preferred
•At least 1 year of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred*
*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED
