Description/Job Summary

To design, code and modify the company’s internal and external websites, from layout to function and according to requested specifications while striving to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation


•Design, develop and provide maintenance to all company web site requests
•Collaborate daily with the Web Development and Marketing teams, and other internal departments
•Maintain daily process to ensure timely posting of news articles to the web
•Provide assistance with web development duties in the absence of other team members
•Assist with monitoring job queue and assign web requests
•Ensure optimal Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices are incorporated into all web sites
•Assist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes to ensure goals are met
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must have:

•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
•Strong understanding of UI (User Interface), cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
•Strong working knowledge of Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, HTML 5, CLASSIC ASP, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
•Intermediate working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
•Basic working knowledge of the following: MySQL, SQL, XML
•Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Preferred Skills

•Basic working knowledge of Oracle ATG Web Commerce Platform (Endeca, WCS, BCC) preferred

Required Experience

•At least 3 years of experience in a web development environment performing the following:
•Using, authoring or scripting languages to build websites
•Writing, designing, and editing web page content or mentoring others producing content
•Identifying and correcting problems uncovered by testing or user feedback
•Converting written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of experience managing web development projects from start to finish preferred
•At least 1 year of hands on experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's preferred
•At least 1 year of experience with web server technologies such as IIS, ODBC, Active Directory, Permissions, MySQL Server, and/or SQL Server preferred
•At least 1 year of hands on experience with Oracle ATG Web Commerce Platform (Endeca, WCS, BCC) preferred
•At least 1 year of experience with Digital Based Marketing such as SEO/SEM, Paid Search, Display Networks, and Retargeting/Remarketing preferred
•At least 1 year of experience with content management systems preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Communications or a related field, OR an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Communications or a related field with at least 6 years of the required experience, OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 12 years of the required experience

Preferred Education

•Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Communications preferred
