Description/Job Summary

Perform various tasks including product packaging, but primarily assembling fabricated parts at floor stations while testing and calibrating mechanisms to meet tolerances & product specifications


•Be aware of all Quality requirements
•Follow the Work Instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines
•Identify and bring to the attention of management any documentation errors (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions)
•Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used by the team
•Assemble 80% of all products in assigned area
•Assist in all areas of production as needed

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Required Skills

•Must be a team player, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Work in a non-climate controlled environment

•Work under general supervision and direction from lead person, supervisor and manager
•Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
•Use a hydraulic lift, small hand tools, small table lifting device, electronic testing equipment

•Troubleshoot and repair electronic sub-assembly when required
•Inspect sub-assemblies and completed power chairs to meet company standards
• Push/Pull/Lift 40 lbs

Must have:
•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•Willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

Required Experience

•At least 1 year of experience using hand tools for assembly or repair

Preferred Experience

•Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED
