Description/Job Summary

To assemble cushion material needed for orders in Production using various tools


•Use a band saw, glue gun, trimming knives and other hand tools to assemble cushion material

•Perform various tasks including organizing, cutting, gluing and assembling cushion material

•Deliver completed cushions to the production floor as needed

•Utilize Oracle to scan cushions into sub inventory when delivered to production floor

•Utilize Kanban inventory system
•Follow work instructions and comply with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines
•Package and size cushions to maintain accuracy and organization
•Review and understand the cushion styles

•Understand and follow all Quality requirements
•Follow direction of leadership for daily production tasks
•Notify leadership of any documentation errors (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions, etc.)
•Adhere to department guidelines

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Use hand tools and standard power tools such as a band saw, cutting tools, irons, and knives

•Read and comprehend work instructions
•Read a ruler

•Lift/Push/Pull 15 lbs


Must have:

•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

•Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel preferred

Required Experience

•At least 3 months of experience using hand tools and standard power tools to assemble and repair products

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of experience using hand tools and standard power tools to assemble and repair products in a manufacturing environment preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED
