Description/Job Summary

To move, assemble, and test parts and finished products using hand trucks, hand jacks, hand tools, and power forklift equipment per operating procedures


•Pull orders and parts for customers or stock
•Load and unload trailers
•Move, assemble and test parts and finished products
•Verify orders by referring picking tickets to product labels
•Write up re-work tickets, apply shipping labels, and stretch wrap/band product
•Differentiate similar model/serial numbers accurately and efficiently

•Perform a variety of tasks related to distribution center operating needs as directed by management

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Lift up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 80 lbs

•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

•Basic working knowledge of warehousing/distribution standard concepts, practices, and procedures preferred

Required Experience

•At least 6 months of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment*
*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of experience using scan guns and printing of labels preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED
