Description/Job Summary

To coordinate multiple facets of engineering projects to bring new products to production within the established time frames


•Construct and maintain project timelines and Design History Files (DHF’s)
•Facilitate meetings for product development and design reviews
•Facilitate productivity of multiple teams with Research & Development (R&D) such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, Test Lab and Machine Shop
•Develop strong working relationships with all functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution
•Oversee and participate in mechanical building and assembly of prototype products such as beta samples, show samples, and test samples when needed
•Facilitate product transition from design to product release into production
•Develop familiarity with regulatory requirements so as to make compliance recommendations
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Travel domestically and internationally as needed
•Lift/push/pull 40 lbs

Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•Proven successful time management and organizational skills to plan, design and implement each stage of a project within specific time constraints
•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Basic knowledge of hand tools and standard power tools
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

•Basic working knowledge of Oracle and/or Agile preferred

Required Experience

•At least 1 year of proven experience managing, coordinating and leading projects from initiation through delivery inclusive of meeting the project requirements and managing project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources and risk

Preferred Experience

•At least 2 years of project management experience in a fast-paced Research & Development or manufacturing environment preferred
•At least 1 year of experience with the specific products preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

•Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Business Management related field preferred
•Project Management Professional certification preferred
