Description/Job Summary

To review product designs to plan and implement Bills of Materials (BOM’s) for product model and finished goods while developing the configuration rules to properly validate the entry of sales orders into Pride’s order management systems

Responsibilities/Duties

•Create and maintain order entry screens using Oracle Configuration Developer and Configure Pride Quote (CPQ)

•Plan and create model and finished good BOM’s that meet the requirements of Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Reimbursement, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, Distribution, Technical Service, and Finance

•Create and implement change orders to release BOM’s for new options, models, and finished goods

•Audit product BOM’s to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices

•Review and approve change orders that release new options, models and finished goods BOMs to Production
•Work with Product Management and Sales to develop new solutions or techniques to improve the overall order entry and order management process

•Analyze proposed changes to a product design to determine and prepare necessary documentation to complete the change

•Create and implement change orders to manage the product obsolescence Product Lifecycle Management activities

•Review engineering change data with approval authority to ensure synchronization to the configuration management system

•Attend design reviews, providing feedback on assembly structure as it relates to the planned model BOM structure

•Create and manage part numbers in Agile

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Demonstrate a logical thought process that will facilitate the development of attributes and configuration rules (validation rules, Boolean logic, “if then else” logic, etc.)
•Learn and adapt to new technologies to solve business problems
•Analyze requirements from various departments as they relate to BOM structure planning
•Use discretion and good judgment to make solid business decisions related to change management and BOM structures
•Work under minimal supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude

Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Basic mathematical skills
•Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
 

Preferred Skills

•Basic working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Product Lifecycle Management Systems, Oracle’s ERP 11i product, and/or Bill of Materials (BOMs) preferred

Required Experience

•At least 1 year of experience that demonstrates the use of analytical skills in a business environment

Preferred Experience

•At least 1 year of experience using Oracle’s ERP 11i product preferred
•At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

•Associate’s Degree in an Information Technology or Business-related field preferred
